Amazon is facing a lot of difficulties trying to get its delivery drone program off the ground. A high employee turnover rate and potential safety risks are being cited as major problems, according to report by Bloomberg.
According to Bloomberg, there were five crashes recorded over the course of a four month period at the company's testing site in Pendleton, Oregon. A crash in May occurred after a drone lost its propeller, but Bloomberg confirmed that Amazon cleaned up the wreckage before the Federal Aviation could carry out an investigation. It appears Amazon's drone program has yet to become successful.
