Amazon plans to start the Future Engineer Child-to-Care Service in India, a work posting tips. The project, which was initiated in the US in January last year, seeks to finance computer science courses to help students learn coding and computers. Amazon is now hiring a boss to lead the Amazon Future Engineer program in India. The new development comes almost a year after CEO Jeff Bezos visited the country and revealed an investment of $1 billion (roughly Rs. 7,319 crores) in the country to digitize small and medium-sized businesses in the country.
The work posting, first mentioned by TechCrunch, suggests that Amazon plans to start the Future Engineer program in India sometime in 2021.
The initial research for Amazon Future Engineer in India is currently underway and we are looking to the chosen candidate to dive deeply into the operationalization of the program on what is relevant to India and the needs of students, the organization said in its statement.
While Amazon India's headquarters in Bengaluru will be based for the work, the software is likely to go live around the world.

Since its arrival, Amazon Future Engineer has been extended to more than 5,000 schools and 550,000 students in the US, as detailed in the company's press release.
The Amazon Future Engineer program is designed to educate students from "under-represented and under-served" backgrounds each year. Which contains $10,000 (roughly Rs. 7.32,000) grants that are awarded to 100 students each year. The organization also states that it provides guaranteed, paying internships to scholarship winners in its office during their first year of college.
Amazon has now promised to spend more than $6.5 billion (roughly Rs. 47.586 crores) in the region, with the most recent $1 billion investment announced in January. Initially, local operations began as an e-commerce company, while Seattle, Washington-based, has recently extended its presence in the Indian area. Earlier this year, the organization has promised to generate as many as a million new jobs in the country by 2025.
In July last year, Amazon released an app called JEE Ready, which was recently renamed the Amazon Academy. It is planned to help students study for the IIT-JEE Indian Engineering Exam.
