All on Instagram will shortly be able to go live for 4 hours.

Instagram continues to work on enhancing its live content experience, and today revealed a series of minor improvements that would make broadcasting on the app faster and then save those live videos. The biggest change is that streamers are no longer limited to 60-minute broadcasts — they will run live for up to four hours. This expanded timeframe will be open to all Instagram users worldwide as long as they have no records of IP or policy breaches.

People will also be able to access their own live streams in their private files, equivalent to News and Tweets, for up to 30 days after broadcasting. They can want to download the material and post it elsewhere. Finally, Instagram adds a segment called "Live Now" to IGTV where users can find videos to watch live at the time.

Taken together, Instagram is obviously engaging in live streaming when the medium is already hot due to the pandemic.

In its release on updates, the organization addresses the extended live timeline that allows fitness instructors the opportunity to train extended, as well as allowing activists seeking to communicate with their audience more opportunities to speak.

Generally, users are replacing live streaming in with something they've done in person, like shopping, so Instagram is providing more time to do that. At the same time , the company hopes that live videos can keep users in the app longer, particularly provided that life is something they can't watch at any other time. There are a lot of sites for users to pick from when they go online, but Instagram is seeking to make itself successful and the place to be.
