The information of the Bharti Aadhaar card have been compromised by a group of Nepali hackers. According to the Nepalese hacker group, Indian hackers hacked the Aadhaar card in return for hacking some government sites in Nepal.
The hacker group 'Satan' claimed to have hacked the details of 70 million Aadhaar cards equal to 2 GB. The file they made public, however, includes information of Aadhaar cards for 2145 individuals.
Noting that the hacking game was started by an Indian hacker, and that they only responded, the hacker group Satan said it was not in the interest of both sides. "We never want a war. You've pressured us to do it. It's up to you to initiate it. Let's avoid this wrong for a while.
One wrong move, and you know the consequences of a lion's smiling face. Be safe first and attack others."
The Unified National Identity Card of India is called the Aadhaar Card. People living in India are issued the 'Unique Identification Number (UID)' in this Identity Card, which contains their full personal information.
